My desire is that my life be a life of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ in all things that I do. Whether it be a grateful spirit for my spouse and child, enjoying the unexpected rain shower on a dry summer day or just seeing a sunrise as I take my daily walk, counting my blessings often is just what I need. I hope you will see that clearly as you read through my daily journey. ENJOY!

my new "do"
I went in for a haircut today and told my stylist to do whatever she wanted. She asked me a few questions (like how much time I had to devote to fixing my hair each day and if I wanted to be able to pull it up/back) then came up with this. It looks really short, but she says I have enough to pull up and it can also be styled under (instead of flipped up like today). Take a good look, as I will never be able to make it look like this again:)

I love it! Looks great. You should take a picture when you style it just to compare but I know what you mean. I can never style mine like they do either.
I thought there was something different about you when I saw you today. I figured you had lost more weight because you look like you have. I like the haircut. Boy, I sure do need a new style myself.
I like the new hair cut Laura! You've done a great job on your blog!
Thanks ladies! My hair looks pretty funny this morning. We'll see how it looks after I shower and shampoo it in a little while:)
BTW, I am loving the blogging Amy. It is sort of like fast scrapbooking:)
I love it! And I so totally get how it never looks the same as the stylist. Sigh. So long as I can pull it back into a pony tail, all is well.
Well, today with the drizzle and rain, it looks like a brillo pad!!! But, I am learning to fix it somewhat similar to her way....but of course, it never looks the same.
