Last night, Abigail pulled another tooth. This one was not even loose or mentioned by the dentist when we went in for a cleaning a couple of weeks ago. And, according to the 'order' he gave me of how they normally fall out, this one is out of order :)
This is on her upper left side...the first molar. She has not lost the 'canine' tooth nor the tooth behind that yet. But this first molar was bothering her, so she kept wiggling it until it came out. It had no signs of decay or disease, so I am not sure why it was bother her.
So, she is another $5 richer. But, this time she wanted to find the money under her pillow. Since she pulled it right at bedtime (MY bedtime even) she suggested that I just "get up really early and put it under her pillow before she gets up at 7:55 a.m. to watch Pokemon this morning." Thankfully I did wake up before she did.
My desire is that my life be a life of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ in all things that I do. Whether it be a grateful spirit for my spouse and child, enjoying the unexpected rain shower on a dry summer day or just seeing a sunrise as I take my daily walk, counting my blessings often is just what I need. I hope you will see that clearly as you read through my daily journey. ENJOY!

another lost tooth
It's been a while since Abigail lost a tooth...but today she finally lost another one. She also has a second one that is loose....the 'mirror' to this one. She has been wiggling it for over a week, but this morning she was ready to get it out....and she wanted me to pull it for her. One quick yank with my fingers took care of it. She had $5 in her hand within minutes....as we are going out later today and she wanted cash just in case she wanted to shop :) She knows all about the tooth fairy and did not want to wait until she came tonight--LOL!
Here's the spot where the tooth came out.
Here's the tooth just after I helped her pull it.
And, here's the new and improved smile :)

..and finally...the videos.......
The children did such a wonderful job with the musical. Finally, I think I figured out how to post the little video clips I took. The first one is the last part of the girls' trio. The second one is the Abigail's solo. Can you tell she was QUITE nervous? All of the children did a wonderful job.....and the director was awesome! Having been in her shoes before....I know the hard work that goes into doing a musical like this, especially when you have everything from little kindergarteners to sixth graders in one group!!!
Enjoy......
Enjoy......
School Days....
Like most children, Abigail started school recently. Since we homeschool, she has really been doing some school off and on all summer. We started fourth grade 'officially' on Friday, August 7th. Then, on the 14th, we started our "Friday classes" at Wall Highway Christian Academy. Each year, we take a photo by the school sign. It is neat to see how much she grows from year to year..... ....first day of FOURTH grade......even though the camera angles are different, the signs have not moved.....look at where her head is on the lettering of the sign in each picture to get an idea of how much she is grown....she is standing in pretty much the same spot both years!!!!

Life School Musical
The children at church, under the direction of Mrs. Amy Madison, did a musical called "Life School Musical". Here are some photos from the performance. Abigail did a good job on her solo...but she was SO nervous.
