Botanical Garden Walk Thru

On November 13, we had the opportunity to visit the local botanical gardens for a walk thru of the Christmas lights. Abigail enjoyed doing this with a special friend! The drive thru will be fun too...and we plan to do that twice in December. While walking we even met up with some of Abigail's classmates, and you'll see them pictured below as well. We always enjoy looking for the newest lights/displays...it's a game to spot what was added since last year :)...this is our FAVORITE display...the real meaning of Christmas....
...Abigail with her peace sign face painting.....
..and "J" with her Christmas tree....The girls got these done as we started the walk thru.
..the girls trying to decide who was on Santa's nasty and nice list....
....from left to right....."L", "S" (Abigail's classmates), Abigail and "J"

So, what displays did you decide were new? Nothing really jumped out at me. (I did the walk thru also this year) Didn't see the snowmen in the last picture. We may have bypassed that part of the walk???

I know this can't be the Birmingham botanical garden, can it? I've never seen these lights.
They are pretty!

This is actually in Huntsville, Pam and has been featured in Southern Living as well as other publications as one of those must see things in past years. It is well worth it the cost..but you do see more at the drive thru. Michelle, the snowmen were at the end by children's garden just as you were going to exit to the parking lot (after Santa just outside the building). As far as new stuff....there were a few..the biggest being the SAM (where there were lights blinking to the music in two places). Off the top of my head...cannot recall the new displays but I know we saw some and will likely see more at the drive thru.
