This is Lenny....our school's mascot and contribution to the scarecrow trail at the gardens. A penguin is a pretty interesting mascot, isn't it? The middle school/high school students put him together and I think they did a great job!
It feels like fall has arrived!!! With the cooler weather and the pretty decorations, it seems like it really IS September.
We have really enjoyed the cooler weather this week. On Tuesday we went to the Botanical Gardens to see the scarecrow trail. The kids with our group got distracted at the children's garden so we did not see all of the 'crows'. All the more reason for a return trip....or two:)
