My desire is that my life be a life of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ in all things that I do. Whether it be a grateful spirit for my spouse and child, enjoying the unexpected rain shower on a dry summer day or just seeing a sunrise as I take my daily walk, counting my blessings often is just what I need. I hope you will see that clearly as you read through my daily journey. ENJOY!

Soccer girl.....
Abigail is definitely NOT a girly girl. She can play dolls and dress up if she has to, but she'd just as soon be wearing soccer cleats and wearing a pony tail :) Here she is playing in the first couple of soccer games of the season. The first game (gray jersey) was so nice...warm and comfy outside. We actually got a bit sunburned...of course we did not figure it out until that evening. The second game (blue jersey).....cold and damp...not raining, but it felt like it could start any minute....well, we were happy to have the final whistle blow. By the way, her team is co-ed and is made up of 3rd thru 6th graders, but amazingly, it works pretty well. Abigail is the youngest on her team, but fits right in size wise.

Dawson really enjoys soccer, but unfortunately East Limestone didn't have soccer this spring. He was very disappointed. Hopefully fall soccer will be available in our area.
We really like UPWARD for a lot of different reasons. We have had a lot of fun at Pineview Baptist....and it's pretty close to our house which is nice too. That is the only sport she really wants to play these days.
THNX FOR DOING A POST ABOUT ME!
